Abstract: The fourth in his series of twenty-four books about the title character Tarzan. Having settled in London, after the thrilling events of The Revenge of Tarzan (1920), Tarzan and Jane watch their preadolescent son, Jack, grow into a fine lad who dreams of adventure and glory in the impenetrable jungles of Africa. But, before long, the boy catches the eye of one of Tarzan's old enemies, Ivan Paulovich, who kidnaps Jack and takes him to Africa. There, as the boy grows up with the aid of Ivan's trained ape, Akut, Jack, who now goes by the ape-name of Korak, or Killer, befriends the beautiful Arab girl, Meriem, only to find out that she, too, has been kidnapped by ruthless Paulovich. Can Korak, the brave son of Tarzan, live up to his father's name and save the day?
